Car Guides is an independent automotive publication launched in 2026 by François Aublin, founder of Lumira Projects. Our editorial office is at 33 Irving Pl, New York, NY 10003.
What we cover
Every car sold in the United States. We index the catalog by brand, model, year, body type, and engine type. We compare any two models on specs, MPG, ownership cost, and reliability. We publish buyer guides for every realistic use case — first-time drivers, growing families, long commutes, tall people, snow country, off-road weekends.
How we work
Every fact we publish is cross-referenced from at least two primary sources: NHTSA vPIC (the official US vehicle database), EPA fueleconomy.gov for MPG and emissions, manufacturer official sites, and Wikidata for historical context. Our full process is documented in our Methodology page.
Who writes
Every article is written, signed, and fact-checked by François Aublin. No anonymous bylines, no ghost-writers. If you find an error, the corrections email goes directly to François.
How we make money
Some links on Car Guides are affiliate links — when you click and buy, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We also work with insurance lead generators in the US. None of these partnerships influence our rankings or recommendations. Read the full Affiliate Disclosure.
